Administrative & Executive Management

WAM serves as your association’s professional headquarters, providing day-to-day operational support and executive leadership so volunteer leaders can focus on strategy and mission


Services include:

  • Serve as the association’s professional staff and primary point of contact, providing professional customer service to members and stakeholders
  • Partner with the Board and committees to execute strategic and operational goals
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, governance materials, and reports
  • Manage nominations, elections, and member voting processes
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements on the association’s behalf
  • Maintain official association records and documentation
  • Oversee website updates and general office operations
  • Provide responsive customer service to members and stakeholders

Event Planning

With extensive experience across conferences, tradeshows, educational programs, and meetings, WAM manages the full lifecycle of association events—from concept to execution.

 

Services include:

  • Plan and manage annual conferences, tradeshows, meetings, golf outings, educational programs, and legislative days/advocacy programs
  • Develop event timelines, budgets, and planning schedules
  • Design promotional materials and event marketing strategies
  • Recruit, manage, and retain sponsors, exhibitors, and vendors
  • Negotiate venue and vendor contracts to secure cost savings
  • Manage registration systems, attendee communications, and reporting
  • Coordinate speakers, presenters, program content, and continuing education credits
  • Oversee on-site and day-of event operations. 

Financial Management

WAM provides transparent, accountable financial management with strong internal controls and clear reporting to your Treasurer and Board. Our CPA oversees the financial health of your association along with our accounts payable/receivable team.


Services include:

  • Develop annual budgets for Board approval and detailed financial reports for each Board meeting
  • Maintain all financial records, accounts, and supporting documentation
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including dues invoicing and collection
  • Oversee bank accounts, credit cards, and payment processing systems
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure financial accuracy
  • Coordinate preparation and filing of required state and federal tax forms
  • Ensure that association maintains appropriate non-profit status
  • Support audits or financial reviews, when required


Government & Public Relations

 WAM provides strategic advocacy, public relations, and issue monitoring to ensure your association’s voice is heard and protected. 


Services include:

  • Monitor legislative developments and regulatory issues impacting your industry
  • Communicate advocacy updates to members through newsletters and alerts
  • Coordinate public relations efforts, media outreach, press releases, and public statements
  • Support political action committee (PAC) fundraising efforts
  • Assist with crisis communications and response when needed
  • Coordinate messaging with board leadership and legal or advocacy counsel
  • Execute payments of political contributions


Fundraising & Sponsorship Development

WAM helps associations diversify revenue streams and build sustainable sponsorship and fundraising programs. 

 

Services include:

  • Identify and develop non-dues revenue opportunities
  • Secure sponsorships for events, programs, and publications
  • Develop annual sponsorship and advertising programs
  • Maintain exhibitor, sponsor, and vendor relationships
  • Manage affinity/residual programs to general non-dues income

Membership Recruitment & Retention

Member service is central to WAM’s philosophy. We help associations grow, engage, and retain members by delivering value and strong service.

  • Serve as the primary contact for member inquiries and support
  • Process memberships, renewals, and upgrades
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date membership records
  • Support membership recruitment initiatives and drives
  • Collaborate with membership committees and leadership
  • Support onboarding and orientation of new members

Publications, Marketing, & Communications

WAM serves as the communications arm of your association, ensuring consistent, accurate, and professional messaging across all platforms. 


Services include:

  • Produce newsletters, directories, surveys, brochures, press releases, and invitations
  • Draft, edit, and revise all written content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency
  • Ensure messaging aligns with board direction and organizational goals
  • Develop website content and digital communications including graphics, flyers, promotional materials, and social media content
  • Coordinate advertising placement in targeted publications
  • Maintain brand consistency across all materials

Website Maintenance

WAM ensures your website supports your strategic goals and remains accurate, functional, and member-focused. 


 Services include:

  • Maintain event calendars, announcements, and updates
  • Update membership rosters and protected content
  • Post newsletters, e-blasts, and association communications
  • Recommend improvements to enhance usability and engagement
  • Coordinate with website platforms and vendors
  • Ensure content accuracy and timely updates

Continuing Education & Professional Development

WAM supports associations that offer continuing education, certification, or professional development programs by managing the full process from course development through credit approval and reporting. 


Services include:

  • Identify, recruit, and coordinate qualified speakers and presenters
  • Work with Continuing Education and Professional Development Committees to develop educational programs and course content, when applicable
  • Ensure courses meet accreditation, licensure, and compliance requirements
  • Manage credit tracking, reporting, and documentation
  • Coordinate evaluations, attendance verification, and certificates of completion
  • Maintain records required for audits or regulatory review

National/Parent Association Relation

WAM serves as the primary liaison between your state or local association and its national or parent organization, ensuring consistent communication, compliance, and alignment with national standards and initiatives. Our team meets ongoing requirements and represents your organization at the national level so your leadership can stay focused on serving members locally. 

 

Services include:

  • Maintain a strong, ongoing relationship with the national or parent organization
  • Manage annual recertification of local or state chapters, when applicable
  • Prepare and submit required annual reports and compliance documentation
  • Attend national conventions and meetings on the association’s behalf
  • Coordinate and submit chapter award applications for national recognition
  • Track national deadlines, policy updates, and governance requirements
  • Advise boards on national bylaws, best practices, and procedural changes
